Hi, my ps4 has its blue ray logic board broken so I can't update the system because it shows an error.
What I want to ask is if I change the logic board (BDP-010) will I be able to update my system?
I don't care if it reads discs. What I'm worried about is that if can't update the system I won't be able to download games from the psn where I have most of my games.

The Blu-ray drive board is paired with the board meaning that if it were to be replaced the Blu-ray drive won’t be able to read discs at all.
To get this problem fixed the blu-drive board needs to be repaired by a reputable console repair store that does board-repairs. You may be able to find someone locally that offers this service. These repairs start around $90 USD.
