Battery not accepting a charge. Any advice?

I installed my MacBook battery a couple of months ago with good success. Battery was charging and operating just fine but over the last couple of days the battery now refuses to take a charge. I've tried 2 different chargers and reset the SMC, but no change. Is there another trouble shooting step or another thing I can check?

I also included a screenshot from the system report as well, Hoping that might show something. To me it seemed odd the the amperage would be reading zero, but I don’t have another laptop to compare against.

Install this gem of an app CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the main window and post it here for us to see. Do one with the MagSafe charger connected and a second with it removed. Ajout d'images à une question existante

Thanks Dan! Just updated with images from coconut battery. Unfortunately I can only get a screenshot WITH the charger connected because the computer dies the second it loses connection with the power cord.

Where did you get the battery?

I can't tell if the problem is in the battery or if it's the charging logic. I'm leaning to the charging logic.

The battery was purchased from a recommended eBay seller I've used in the past. Claims to be genuine battery and appears to be as well, but who knows I suppose. There is a warranty on it but obviously this battery is a bit of a PITA to install so it sure would be nice if it turned out to NOT be in issue with the battery. What is my best option for testing, or resetting the battery logic. I don't seem to be getting a change with resetting the SMC.

Let’s try this: Do you still have your original battery?

If you do carefully disconnect your new battery and plug in your old battery. Setting the system on its side so you can see the screen what does CoconutBattery tell you how your old battery is doing. If you need to plug in the MagSafe.

Without having another battery to work with it will be hard to isolate the problem. You’ll need a DVM to measure the voltages.

Thanks Again, Dan. I thought I threw out my old battery but I actually found it and re connected. After reconnecting the old battery the computer was charging again. So the new battery I had just installed is being sent back fro a warranty replacement. Appreciate the help!
