Can I use any GTX 780M to upgrade my iMac mid 2010?

Hi,

Does someone can confirm me that I can upgrade my iMac 27” Mid 2010 with any GTX 780M from Dell or Alienware ?

I see a lot of tutorials which do not show us the exact reference of which 780M we can use…

Options

The GPU board uses custom Apple firmware on it so if you have the skills and access to the needed tools you could re-flash the firmware on the Dell board. For most, this is just not practical.

Every tutorial didn't mention the firmware... Seems to be just an hardware upgrade. :o
