Can I use any digitizer and LCD Screen?

Hi. I have an iNO 5 phone(https://droidchart.com/en/ino-mobile/ino... ). It’s basically a local made non-camera phone. The phone has dropped a couple of times and now I’m unable to properly tap on the screen and the image keeps flickering. I assumed I have to change the digitizer and LCD screen. However, I can’t seem to find the spare parts online.

Can I just “plug and play” any other digitizer and LCD screen that fits? I just need to be able to log into the phone and turn on ADB debugging so that I can retrieve and export my photos and data. I’ve seen a few online that looks kinda similar. Not sure if it works like “plug and play”.

Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not that I have ever seen. Use a mouse via usb charger port or bluetooth to turn on usb debugging. Probably also need it for accepting the connection once it's hooked up to the computer.

Hi,

It is doubtful that you can just plug in any LCD screen and digitizer.

The wiring connections for both have to exactly match what is wired on the motherboard for them to work correctly. Plugging in the wrong ones could even damage the systemboard which would make the problem even worse.

Are there any part numbers, markings etc on the back of the LCD screen, digitizer or flex cables that may help you to find the correct parts?

If there are, search online using the numbers only to hopefully find the parts.

As mentioned above, if the screen still works of a fashion, use a USB mouse via OTG cable to navigate through the phone to select settings for access via BT or USB

@jayeff Had a brain fart not to mention the OTG. Thanks for adding that fact. :-)

Hi @ Muhammad Lufti Mohd Mohaimin,

You could always contact iNO and ask them if parts are available and if so where from.

It never hurts to ask ;-)
