Can you reconnect the fine electrical wires if they have snapped?

Should be able to as long as the wire is viable on both sides of the break. Solder and heat shrink wrap should do the trick.

As long as the wires are visible, you can resolder them. Just make sure to put some heatshrink tubing on before!
