I dropped my phone in the hot tub for like one second at it was working normal and fine the whole night after. But when I woke up my phone screen was shaking and showing double of everything. Since I didn’t do anything about the water damage right away, is it now to late to fix it myself.

It’s better to get at it sooner rather than later. If you have experience with phone repair, the first thing you want to do is open up the phone and disconnect the battery to prevent further electrical damage.
