Well, the good news is this is repairable!
You pulled the socket off the logic board! The ribbon cable looks OK its just still in the socket.
This is a tricky repair! First you’ll need a new connector and you need a small nozzle hot air rework system to first clean up the solder pads as you still have the connectors solder pins still on the pads and then mount the new connector.
You’ll need to find someone with the part, skills and tools to do this repair.

Do you know where I could possibly find a new connector to buy?
Sadly I don't know. Most of us who do repairs leverage dead systems for parts. Salvaging them from the dead logic board. Thats what I would do here as this is not a common part I would stock.
Couldn't I just adhere the socket above the solder pads so that the connector is connecting with them?
If you flip over the ribbon cable you'll see the contacts are missing!
Think how you snap a paper chip by bending it a few times the cut point is what you have within the plastic shell as the rest of the leg is still on the logic board. There is nothing to connect, sorry needs a new connector.
Your more likely to make this worse! In any attempt you try.
A dollar connector is a lot cheaper than a thousand dollar logic board! But you know better than me ;-}
Thank you for your time and your assistance!
