Hi,

Don’t know the answer but here’s the 2005-2006 Nissan Altima Factory Service Manual.

Scroll down and click on the Engine Mechanical link, pass the recaptcha test and then click on Fullscreen to view this section of the manual. Go to p.EM-32 to find the Fuel Injector removal and installation procedure. The reference in the procedure to EC-84 Fuel Pressure release, means that you will have to go back and click on the Engine Control System link to get that section of the manual and then go to p.EC-84.

You can download the sections of the manual to your computer to make it easier to use, by clicking on the Download link found on the top right side of the document header bar once it has opened on the screen.

Hopefully this may be of some help.

I had to remove the engine valve cover that's it on the same vehicle, and use a 20in extension breaker bar on the left side by the alternator and just a 10in extension on the other side to reach the bolt. once the bolts are free pry the fuel rail bar up and it will take some wiggling to get the injectors out ( make sure u disconnect the harness 1st )
