Why does the ac and heat only blow thru the defrost vent?
Why does the AC and heat only blow out of the defrost that no matter what setting it’s on?

Hi @kploch ,
Seems as though there is a problem with either the AC blend door actuator or the blend door itself.
The blend door is moved to direct the air between the various outlets.
Here’s a video that shows how to replace the actuator in a 2010 Equinox . I realize that it is not in the same model range as your vehicle but hopefully it is similar and may help
Here’s a video that shows (poorly) how to fix the blend door. There is also this one as well if you don’t want to remove the dash and just temporarily fix it.
