Can I clean underneath the touch bar?

I spilled some liquid. A small amount. Mostly on the touchbar. I shut everything down and let it dry for a few days. Now it seems to be working fine, except that the touchbar is dark and unresponsive, and the lights are off under a few of the central keys. I can totally live with it like this, but I’m worried about further damage from corrosion . I’m wondering if I can pry up touch bar, get in there and clean it myself…?
