The charger works but the Yoga is not charging I have to hold the cord for it to charge . I think the port is bad. 2 yoga in 3 years to fail like this. How can I repair? How much would it cost? Is it connected to the mother board?

Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.
Go to p.44 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the DC-In cable.
The part number for the DC-In cable is 5C10L46131 .
Search online using only the part number to find suppliers of the part

From what I can see on that model the charge port is a separate piece that just plugs into the motherboard so you should be able to replace it with no soldering required, just some screwdrivers and patience. Looking at parts on eBay, they seem to range from $10-$15 including shipping (US pricing).
