My computer shut off unexpectedly when our puppy chewed through the power cord. Now it won’t turn back on or respond to and key strokes. Did my puppy fry the computer?!

Did you replace the USB-C cable with the Apple power cable USB-C Charge Cable (1 m) You really want the Apple cable as many cables don't have the larger gage wire for the power lines and some are not fully wired! USB Type-C: Not All Cables Are Created Equal
I would also get a USB-C power meter like Flight-Sky USB-C Multimeter So you really can monitor your batteries charging and power usage.

I did. No changes. The computer still won't power on even with a different 61W charger and cable.
@Adamwill85 - What does the power meter tell you.
