No Title (You should edit this question)

Trying install a SSD and I accidentally dropped it onto something in this area that caused a loud pop and spark. It killed the SSD, but the system still starts up with the startup sound but no video. Do I need replace this and the video card?

What is the make and model number of the computer or the motherboard if it is a custom build?

When upgrading hardware ALWAYS disconnect the power either from the PSU if it is a desktop computer or the battery if a laptop computer (either unplug it if it is external or disconnect it from the motherboard if an internal battery) BEFORE doing anything else to avoid the problems that you now have.
