Where can I buy a PCIe to USB Adaptor?

My 11” MacBook Air (2013) recently died and I have opened it up and removed the blade SSD.

Beyond buying an older MacBook Air and connecting the SSD into it (I don't have the money for that), does anyone recommend any USB adaptors I can connect it to?

First Apple uses a custom SSD so you need a special case to hold it: OWC Envoy Pro Portable, Bus-Powered USB 3.0 Storage Enclosure for select Apple Flash SSDs from most 2013 to 2015 Mac Models.

AMZ has a number of options. Aliexpress also has a lot if you can wait for it.

Just search for "nvme to usb" == Since I am not an Apple tech I can't vouch for the fact that the RAM is a std NVMe format. Can't see why it wouldn't be, BUT

@ruggb - Sorry not so simple! Apple did their own thing! You need the correct interface, the M.2 interface is very different. Read the links I posted.

Think of it this way a US power plug won't work in the UK and most of Europe without an adaptor! And you still have to deal with the voltage difference.

Of course they did their own thing, so they can charge more money. That is a primary reason I am a Windows tech. Not saying it is perfect, but I have a big problem with vendors who sell things for 3x what it is worth
