Hi,

More information is needed to help you.

What is the model number of the laptop?

What OS is installed i.e. Win10, Win 8.1, Win 7 etc?

Can you "see" your wireless network and other networks?

Have you checked the status of the WLAN adapter in Device Manager?

It is connected but it won't go through

@armann70530 you need to add way more information to this if you really want some help. Start off telling us a story about the make and model of your computer? What does it do? what have you checked? What else did you try? The more information you give us the greater the chance of getting a good answer.

Try using USB wireless adapter

1- Turn on the HP computer and log into Windows.

2- Insert the mini-plug end of the USB cable into the USB network adapter and connect the other end to the computer. If your HP system has USB ports on the front of the case, plug the USB cable from the network adapter into one of them, as you may receive a better wireless signal than if you connected the device to the back of the desktop computer.

3- Insert the USB wireless adapter driver disc into the CD or DVD drive of the HP computer if Windows prompts you to do so. For most wireless USB adapters, Windows does not require third-party drivers because it includes the necessary software for the operating system. Windows configures the wireless adapter for use after a few seconds of installing the built-in driver or the one from the installation disc. A wireless network icon will appear in the taskbar, near the clock.

4- Right-click on the wireless network icon in the taskbar and click "Open Network and Sharing Center". In the Network and Sharing Center window, click "Set up a new connection or a new network |" Connect to the Internet | Next | Wireless."

5- Select the SSID or wireless network name of your router from the list of available connections. If your router's network name does not appear in the list, restart the wireless router and the HP desktop computer. Your router's SSID should appear in the list of available connections after you restart the computer and refresh the list of available wireless networks. Select your network and click on “Connect”.

6- Enter the security key or password for the wireless network connection if prompted.

7- Click on "Connect". Once Windows displays a message confirming that the connection to the wireless router was successful, launch your preferred web browser and surf the Internet normally using the new wireless connection.
