My LG dishwasher, model LDT5678SS, is beeping and flashing the lights.

My LG dishwasher beeps and flashes the lights once in a while when you open the door and accidentally touch a button (video #1). And during the wash cycle, beeps and flashes on and off throughout the cycle (video #2). I don’t even know where to start with this. Any insight would be great!

Mine is doing the same thing - anyone find an answer?

No answer from me. I'm trying to find an answer too.

I've reset it multiple times and it worked in the short-term (a couple of days). I've leveled it to make sure that's not the issue. Will have a repair service out and post info when I have it. This is the only place I could find a related video.

Same issue! Also, I had a prior issue that the end chime suddenly stopped working. LG said that the end chime was not covered under warranty, but this constant beeping is driving me crazy. Also, it occasionally will not turn on at all; breaker has to be flipped to “jolt” the system into responding. Nothing but problems.

Mine is doing the same thing. It will run for about 15 min then tarts freaking out flashing and blinking then shuts off. I've tried the rest method that didn't work. I downloaded the app it says nothing is wrong.

Hi,

Can't find the service manual for your model but check if this video is of any help in finding out what's wrong.

turn off the power to the dishwasher at the breaker box for a couple minutes. this should reset it. the beep usually mean a power surge or loss of power was detected.

This looks like the same problem I'm having. Anyone have a good answer yet?

The LG tech I chatted with told me to flip the breaker off, hold the power button for 5 seconds, flip the breaker back on and run another cycle to test. I haven't tried this yet.

I had a tech come out several months ago and switch out the top touch pad/control panel. It's been working without an issue since. I thought this was the problem, but I couldn't find the correct model number for the panel. Each one I ordered was incorrect and I had to send them back. The repair itself looked easy. unscrew the back/inside, then pop the touch pad/control panel off and replace it. Our tech was great, but it would have been cheaper to do it myself. I'm sorry I don't have part numbers to tell you. I also didn't realize it was called a "touch pad" so that might be part of my search issue. Good luck.
