Would it be compatible to place the screen of an iMac Late 2012 to an iMac Late 2013?

Yes, the Late 2012 system can use the Early & Late 2013 display as Apple used the same display across all three model groups. Here’s one example 21.5” iMac Display Assembly 2012/13, Apple P/N 661-7109
