I've been using this ipod for 2 of years now, and lately the screen has refused to respond at all. Wanted some guidance on here before sending it away and paying for it to be fixed.

Paul Piers, it sounds like either your digitizer needs to be replaced or your cable/connection has come loose. Check this guide and see if it is something that you would feel comfortable doing yourself. Of course you also want to try to restore your iPod. Here is how you do that. Hope this helps, good luck.

hi,could be fluff/corrosion causing a short around where the digitiser connects- pay particular attention to under the silver coloured thin metal heat shield in this area, clean with isopropyl alcohol and blast with air.good luck
