MacBook Air "Core i5" 1.6 13" (Early 2015) A1466 (EMC 2925) Lid Sensor

Hello,

I'm working on a logic board of the A1466 (EMC 2925) and I'd like to know the exact position of the lid sensor. Since the screen has been completely ripped off (lol) before I got it, I can't seem to force it to boot to an external monitor. (The solution would have been to close the lid, simply).

The logic board has been isolated from the rest, to the bare minimum, and the fan is spinning. I think the board works, but can't really tell until I can properly what is going on.

The sensor is located on the I/O board on the Uppercase side (hidden)

You'll need a rare earth magnet to slide across the upper case along the edge when the sensor sits to enable it (emulating a closed lid)
