MacBook shuts down after unplugged and no percentage visible.

Hello everyone!

I spilled a whole vase of cold water on my Macbook about a week ago. My mistake was to try to turn it back on right away and see if it works. Apparently I fried the battery. I had the battery changed at a shop next to my workplace but it only works when it’s plugged into power and there is no percentage number on top. It’s just gone!! The shop said they need time to figure it out but I had to take a trip next day and decided to deal with it this way for now. Few days later, all of a sudden I noticed the percentage is back on and I unplugged it and it was working. But again it went back to the same unplug turn off issue. It has been bouncing for the last few days. Sometimes it’s perfectly normal (works when not charging + percentage number is visible) and sometimes it’s not. I tried the SMC and PRAM reset but not change. I also want to add that in battery health, in front of “Health information” it is just a blank instead of saying “normal”.

I understand my best bet is probably to take it to apple or another repair shop but I was hoping if there could be another way to fix it at home in case it’s a small problem. And if I do have to leave it to a professional, do you suggest anything I should tell them just in case they are not fully familiar with the issue?
