I also have the same issues. My laptop don't work at all for a while. But after that, it works well. What should I do to recover this issues?

If your having the same touchpad issues as the OP above, try the answer below to determine if it is the touchpad or something else.

@jayeff Yeah, touchpad. I'm a little bit confused. Should I need to replace my laptop touchpad?

Did you try what was suggested in the Most Helpful Answer below?

If disabling the touchpad and using a USB mouse stopped the problem from happening, it looks like there is a problem with the touchpad.

Yes, I figured it out later. My touchpad didn't work.

Hi,

Disable the touchpad (Fn+F10) and use a USB mouse connected to the laptop to navigate and check if the problem is still there or not.

If it doesn't happen, it may be that the touchpad is intermittently faulty and producing "ghost touches".

Has the keyboard/touchpad gotten wet at all?

the same thing is still happening even after I disable touchpad, do you know any other reasons as to why this is happening?

@Kenzie Retro

Try starting in safe mode and check if the problem still occurs.

I am truly sorry, i've been trying to access safe mode but I don't think I can get the bitlock recovery key, which won't allow me into safe mode. Do you have any other alternative way to fix this? or should I just reset my laptop?

@Kenzie Retro

Here's a link that may help/ Hopefully it applies to Asus as well.

To be safe maybe backup the drive to an external drive before you do anything else. That way your data is safe if it goes pear shaped.
