Computer not sleeping, only restarts or bricks temporarily.

My computer refuses to hibernate or sleep. It just stays on all the time, or when I force it to sleep, it just closes everything and reboots.

@haydenfixes you checked the settings in your OS? What OS are you using? You checked the settings in your BIOS?

Windows 10. All sleep settings should be default

Try running an sfc command just to make sure that all the system files are OK
