Wifi being connected, but not working.

Last couple of weeks my laptop has been “connected” to the wifi, but nothing will load and the wifi is not actually working. It’s not the router, it’s not the wifi itself, it’s the laptop.

I have restarted the laptop, didn’t work. I have forgotten the network, then put the password in, didn’t work. Have troubleshooted, nothing.

I have tried everything that everyone has suggested in others questions, but nothing is working.

It is getting very frustrating, spending decent amount of money on a laptop for University, for it to cr*p out like a cheap laptop.

EDIT* my warranty ended 2 weeks ago, this will be fun.
