Why is my front facing camera and back camera not working
My cameras are completely black and my flash light doesn’t work

Most often this occurs due to a bad camera, particularly the rear camera. The flashlight often doesn't work when cameras are not functioning properly because the enable signal for the flashlight is transmitted via the camera. If the camera isn't working, no signal.
I would have a look at the iPhone Camera Black Screen page and see if anything there helps. But my money is on a bunk rear camera.

I ran across an issue with my daughter-in-law's broken iPhone X that was exhibiting similar symptoms, although I never checked the operation of the flash, but in that case it turned out the be the Infrared Camera on the front camera assembly that was keeping the rest of the cameras from working.
When I plugged in a different IR camera with the rest of the original assembly still in place, suddenly all the cameras started working. Still haven't puzzled that one out, although I'd like to since now there's no Face ID on the phone.
I managed to isolate the problem by disconnecting the front and rear camera components one at a time until I found the one that was keeping the rest from working.
