I have an April Air 600. 2005 year model

I have an April Air 600. Approximately a 2005 model year. I have replaced the solenoid before about 3 years ago. I clean and replace the water panel every year. Last year when i changed to summer mode and removed the panel it didn’t have as much mineral deposits in it as it normally would. Didn’t think much of it at the time. When I went to start the system this session I had no water flo. Everything seemed to check out so after searching here and a few other sources I figured it was the solenoid again. Sources indicated 3 years of use from the solenoid. OK. Replacement of this is not a quick task. I only have about 5 inches of space between the intake duct and the wall. I have to remove the whole unit from the furnace to access 2 screws to switch them out. I made sure water flow direction was correct. Yes that was a learning event we won’t dwell on. So I have supplied some pics of the control and solenoid. I can’t get the water panel to reset on the control. I have water flow. I have not checked the new solenoid for continuity. I am at work and going to restart this when I return home. Any suggestions?

Ok. So I ramped up the temp. I checked the wiring with a voltage indicator. It chirped. I let t run for 5 minutes. The light’s never went off. They also didn’t blink at any time. The wires to the solenoid are identical. Same markings I had dripping water when I replaced the solenoid but now I’m thinking it may not have a good flow and need to replace the saddle valve and supply line. Step 3 or 4. Who knows. I took another photo of the control panel and posting it. It’s very dusty. Issue? Not sure. So do these control panels Die? What is the life expectancy? The only wearable parts here are the solenoid and control panel. ? I did mention that I replaced my furnace a few years back. I now have an Aireease. It’s a tank. My old furnace was a “ State of the Art 2 Stage High Efficiency TRANE 🤣”. It died. The circuit board tanked. Fix was 3000 grand. Trane sad oops. Bad design. Oh well. Want to buy another one? Hell no! Should I replace my humidifier?

Hi,

Don't know the humidifier but you didn't reverse the wires on the solenoid by any chance when you replaced it?

Here's the service manual that may help - see p.6. It's for 2007 but maybe that's close enough.

I actually tried the wires both ways. They aren’t actually marked differently. I will use a voltage indicator and continuity tester when I get home. I just can’t get the panel to reset the replacement warning.

@nvrgvup

Try and reset it as per p.3 of the user manual

Thank you. I’ll try again later

So the reset didn't work either?

First off is maybe you should turn off the power to the panel and use a soft sash brush and a vacuum cleaner and gently remove all the dust from the panel.

It's very dusty in there and that can cause problems when it absorbs moisture (humidity) from the air.

Can you make out the model number on the board? It is partly obscured in the image you posted so I can't make it out.

Sorry Ive been busy. I tried blowing off the circuit board with canned air. No luck I did capture some pics of the board after cleaning. . I wish I knew how to use a meter. I have one but it dropped in my lap by happenstance. I can try to load pics
