i have a brand new,
microwave never used just plugged in and panel lights do not work. Clock works microwave works no display on panel ?

If it's brand new then it should be covered under warranty and you shouldn't have to resort to repairing it yourself. I'd suggest that your first course of action should be to contact the seller about a replacement.
If for some reason that won't work, then we'd need the manufacturer and the model number of your microwave to be able to help you.
