Chromebook c720 zhn not working

The c720 is not opening at all it has two indicator led one is for power, blinking orange and the other is for charging steady orange. I have tried the esc+refresh+power but the ppwer indicator just goes to black, tried to remove the battery and plugging it back nothing happens, is the device short circuit?

Options

First, try disconnect the battery and plug in the power charge, if it can turn on, replace a new battery.

If it does not work, the mother board could be damaged and need to replaced.
