Good place to get a new screen

Solution retenue

Looks like ifixit is STILL out of stock on these parts. Wonder if google has something to do with it.

Anyways you might have luck ordering one from Injured Gadgets. I use their parts often and rarely have issues although I haven't used their aftermarket display for this model yet. Just be aware the refurb parts may not have a fingerprint scanner and you'll need to carefully transfer that over as it's very fragile. If it does have a new scanner, you'll need to reprogram it using Google's online recalibration tool. I've heard it can be real finicky but it usually works well on a Mac surprisingly. Good luck!

Thank you been looking for a while. I don't remember where I found the picture but they are my favorite snakes. I couldn't get over the hat.

I'm going to loop Amber Taus (@amber) in here, as she can probably point you to an official iFixit response.

iFixit does sell genuine Google parts, so if they're continually out of stock, I'd guess it would have to do with availability from Google since they know they're losing money by not having a part in stock.

We do sell genuine Google parts and our lack of stock is understandably frustrating.

We are working through supply channel issues (you'll see similar issues affecting many different industries) and we expect inventories to stabilize in the next month. Unfortunately, there may be continued supply issues with some parts. I did find some on injured gadgets but you guys just got it back in stock. I love Ifixit and am not gonna be angry about setbacks. I understand stuff happens.
