Hello i accidentally left my tablet in my storage unit when i moved 3 years ago, and i just found it when i looked for something else, and even after leaving it in the charger for a few hours it still won't turn on

After this length of time most probably the battery has become depleted beyond recovery and will need to be replaced.
Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the tablet that may help.
Go to p.52 to view the procedure to remove/replace the battery.
Search online for 01AV468 or 5B10W13915 to find suppliers of the battery, that suit you best.

Chances are that the battery is in a deep discharge state. Typically Lithium Ion batteries have a lifespan of around 3 years when used normally, and changes are a storage unit isn't an ideal place to store batteries depending on things like temperature control. I'd attempt to replace the battery and see if the device boots.
