I think my battery leaked into my laptop ..any fix for this?

I noticed this on my motherboard it’s look fried! Do you know what this is?!

That board damage needs sorted before anything. Find a local computer shop and ask for a quote.

😢😢 I’m trying to avoid the computer shop because he charges too much. My dad is a good with soldering and I’m trying to see if we can fix it.

I changed battery. The power light comes on and when I try to turn it on nothing happens

@joshfox35211 you will need the schematic for this board. It's a Toshiba, which makes it really tough. They are even more secretive than Apple with their schematics. See if you can identify the motherboard based on the numbers etc. printed on that.

Also, looks like you may have had some damaged on the processor (top left in your image. Looks like there is some overheating (scorched) damage.

Looks like the northbridge, especially pre-Sandy. They only really fully integrated the northbridge with Sandy 2nd gen. It looks like the chip is toasted :-(.

A lot of the time when you lose the northbridge, the motherboard is FUBAR too.
