Hi Kevin,

As it turns out, I just recently updated Alisha's (@flannelist) excellent iPhone Kernel Panics Wiki article to include iPhone 13 and 14 information.

iPhone Kernel Panics - iFixit

Going through your log, we can see you've got a SMC PANIC - ASSERTION FAILED error, so looking under that heading we see this error code in your log.

S.sensor array 0 - 6 is 0x0, 0x800, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0

Here's what error 0x800 means.

  • 0x800 is on the charge port assembly.

Essentially, one of the sensors on the lightning port assembly has failed and can't be read by the processor, so it reboots the phone in an attempt to recover. Of course, once the phone reboots it then goes to check the sensor again in three minutes only to find it can't be read, so it reboots to try and recover. Repeat ad infinitum...

Unfortunately, iFixit hasn't gotten around to creating that guide for the iPhone 13 Pro yet, but there's a Spanish site called Nadie Me Llama Gallina (Nobody Calls Me Chicken) that has just what you need.

Manuals / Apple iPhone 13 Pro / Charging flex

Used in conjunction with the Chrome browser's automatic translation, it is very much usable even if you don't speak Spanish.

That should get you going! The good news is you can put your old parts back in so you don't get those annoying "might not be genuine" messages! To the best of my knowledge there shouldn't be any issue with replacing the charging port; it's not tied to the motherboard like pretty much everything else is.
