now there's of delusional keyboard (pad) in front of me. Tried device manager. Closest match is mouse and other devices listed under keyboard that is again is creations delusions stating that it is installed and working properly. Updating driver is therefore, also useless.

I will suggest you to update your tablet to it latest software version. It can help you in fixing the issue which you are facing

The tablet is a Samsung Galaxy SM-W627YZKATEL MS operating system. The first part of my listing got deleted as this was entered in the preamble description section and continued in the larger description section. The keypad was fine until I did a reset and by all accounts, windows updated as it reinstalled. I might try looking for a keyboard driver. Thanks
