Hello ccoffee! It may be because your coffee maker is clogged, and is unable to send any coffee into the pot. You can use a piece of wire to clean, or you can, if possible, wash it out. I hope this fixed your problem! - Gilchrist Dean

thanks but no not the problem coffee maker is brand new and i have washed it out after each use only 3 times used

it is a dcc3200 cuisinart coffee maker.
