I upload as directed, but photo does not show up with submitted question. Is there a size limit? Is there another operation after upload?

Hit the images tab again. See if your image has actually uploaded in the area under the images tab that should appear. Drag the image up and drop it into your question. To be sure this is working, I'm doing the same now:

Used wife's Windows PC instead of my aging Mac Tower and the photo posted along with the submitted question.
Maybe the upload feature doesn't like old Macs.
