Is this logic board from an iPhone 5c to rusty to recover?

I just found my old iPhone 5c and noticed it wasn’t working possibly due to water damage a few years ago. I was able to get the motherboard or logic board out after a little bit of tweaking and I was hoping to get somebody’s insight and knowledged to know if this is too rusty to continue. I was planning on just swapping it out and placing it into another iPhone 5c.

since it has been sitting for a few years then the corrosion could have caused more damage over time, only way to know is to try it with a good screen, battery and power button

@coachb6185 before doing that, I would suggest at least cleaning it :-) Pop all the EMI shields off and then use this guide Réparer un dommage causé par un liquide sur un iPhone and clean your board as described in step 11 and on. It was written for a 3G but all the steps are still pertinent to your board as well.

@oldturkey03 you need hot air to remove those shields

@tech_ni you are right of course. I'd still feel a lot better to clean it first ;-) @coachb6185 follow the advice given by @tech_ni to work on your board.
