When I tell my i7 to vacuum, it comes off of the dock about 3 feet, and proceeds to just spin in circles. The wheels are clean, and the trash bin is empty. I'm not sure what else to try. Any help would be appreciated, we've only had this robot for 2 months.

Mine was doing the same thing for a few days. I rebooted my roomba and the base to fix the issue for me. To reboot the roomba hold the clean button for 20 seconds and un-plug and plug back in the base to reboot that. Give the roomba a minute to connect back to WiFi and try vacuuming again.
