Steam deck Transform into Tablet

Hello, I planning to do some unique upgrade, and transform Steam OLED into tablet. I saw teardown video and realise, that removing left and right controller zone won't issue rest of device. And I decided to ask maybe someone do that kind of experiment?

I found one person, but his article didn't gave me enough intel.
