Use a small brush and some compressed air to remove the debris. Given the age of this computer, I would consider replacing the fan as well as reapplying the thermal paste between the heatsink and the processor. Page 72 of the guide shows you how to work on all of this. Should you get stuck somewhere or have a specific issue while working on it, you can always post some pictures of that with your question.
