I have an old Thinkpad 25 Anniversary Edition. I’ve found I can use replacement motherboards listed online for the more popular Thinkpad T470, and the T25 seems to work fine with them.
How do I properly contribute that information to the website, that motherboards for the T470 work in the T25?

Just find the tutorial where the laptop is posted (dissasembly) and write your own solution overthere, somewhere.

I've done the basics here by categorizing your question under the 25th anniversary edition, so that will help people looking for answers under that category.
If you want, you can go into the device page and edit it; iFixit is set up so anyone can edit anything, although your edits will go through an editing/approval process by us moderators before it appears, so be patient; it doesn't usually take long. Just look for the Edit button and you'll be able to add your information as desired, although as I mentioned just putting it in the correct category would be enough.
