Microphone is not working but calling is possible.

Normal and speaker calling on system call is possible. And siri responds well. But on voice and video recording, microphone doesn’t work. It doesn’t work on instagram calling and discord calling either. But on their speaker calling, it works.

To sum it up,

All calling in call app is possible.

Calling siri is possible.

Speaker calling in any apps is possible.

Normal calling in other apps(means not call app) like instagram is impossible.

Voice recording and video recording with a sound is impossible.

I think it’s because of hardware problem.

How can i fix it?

Try running the phone in safe mode and check if it works OK.

Don't know Apple iOS that well but have you tried clearing the cache for the Voice Memos app?

Also what app are you using for video recording?

If using the phone's camera app to record video, have you tried clearing the cache for it.
