Where is the processor located in the iPad? What is the physical location of the processor? And is there a diagram of the device?

Did you review the iFixit Teardown? iPad 6 Teardown jump to Step 8 to ID the chips.

Technically there is no CPU chip, just like the iPhones and other iPad models they all use a SoC architecture which unlike a PC or older Mac which used Intel CPU’s and needed a lot of other support chips these support chips are all integrated into the SoC chip. Hence why it’s called a System on Chip architecture. These chips all have the designation A_ where blank in a number, within the newer Mac systems Apple has also moved to a SoC architecture with the designation M_ with the blank again being a number.

Here's the picture you're looking for.

The Apple A10 Fusion APL1W24 SoC processor is outlined in red in this picture, but you won't be able to see it when you open up the iPad because it's underneath a metal shield covering the motherboard. You can see the shield in this picture.
