I because the issue is caused by having different revision secondary boards where one is more ideal then the other. In this case, the 1350 controller has the more ideal board compares to the 1419x controller. From what I can tell, these boards look to be the nothing more then to handle the ABYX and up/down/left/right controls. It also lacks any discreet components that look to be related to the Wireless portion. My concern is I will carry the issue over by moving the board over rather then the analog sticks.

One of them will not work without going to the console it was paired to, so I can't use it for PC gaming or make the repair easy by swapping over the analog stick/RF board without unpairing it. The second one works over USB, but I believe it doesn't go to the console with a USB cable hooked up because it's a different revision RF board that's better for USB cable setups and PC gaming. The date codes are 1350 on the retail box controller and 1419x on the Xbox One box, which corresponds with the controller that does not work over USB only.
