Mon problème

Dropped the phone while talking on it. The person I was talking to didn't even notice: only the screen started streaking, and soon became unreadable.

Ma solution

Silky smooth! I am a dude separated from my wife, being visited by another newly single guy who likes to fix electronics and also had an iPhone with a half detached screen. He waited patiently and tinkered on his computer while I replaced my 6S+ screen, gabbing about the impossibility of maintaining relationships with the women we have chosen. I don’t think it is just our geekiness that is the problem, more like the glue that hield us together through the pain. At least I have a phone that works like brand new, and he is able to see how easy the job could be to reseat his (once he backs it up).

Mon conseil

I am still looking for the ifixit lessons on broken relationships, but at least I can still communicate to someone who may or may not want to. Sometimes I regret what I say or text, but dropping or throwing the phone is not much of a temporary solution with ifixit available.
