Use a plastic opening tool to pry the screen up in the right hand corner.

Disconnect the ribbon connector from the digitizer side using your hands or the plastic opening tool.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Where can you get a replacement digitizer screen? My grandson dropped his a couple days ago & I don't want to spend another $200 for a new one.
I am seeing replacement screen/digitizers for these now on ebay. With a little searching around I found one direct ship from Hong Kong for $70US. Good Luck!
I can't seem the find a replacement screen for this specification anywhere
I need the the cable that goes to the sceen. As i changed out my battery, when i tried to carefully remove the zif connector, it broke off. Woe is me.
