HP ProBook 4320t Touchpad Replacement Guide

Introduction

If the touch pad becomes damaged it will need to be replaced in order for it to properly work. There are a good amount of steps in this process but, it is not too difficult.

    • Flip the laptop upside down and remove battery by pressing inward on the two latches holding the battery in.

    • Keyboard is connected via a wire to the back of the panel.

    • Keep an eye on the ZIF connector underneath, make sure it is not pulled accidentally.

    • Slightly lift up the bottom of the touchpad and pull towards you to free the touchpad from the casing
