Introduction

Follow this guide to remove and replace the battery in a Logitech MX Keys wireless keyboard.

Note: If your battery looks puffy or swollen, take extra precautions.

  1. Flip the keyboard's power switch into the OFF position.

    • Once you can grip the foot with your fingers, peel it up and away from the keyboard to remove it.

    • Repeat steps 2–3 for the remaining two feet.

  5. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the three 7.6 mm screws securing the battery cover.

    • If the battery is not removing easily, apply a few drops of high strength (≥90%) isopropyl alcohol underneath and tilt the keyboard around to direct the alcohol to the adhesive.

    • Remove the battery.

    • Apply double sided tape or pre-cut adhesive to secure the new battery.
