Removing the top circuit board

  • Note: I don't know how static sensitive the circuit boards are so if the humidity is quite low (meaning static can build up and you may zap something by touching it) try grounding yourself before you touch the circuit board. If you get up and walk around, ground yourself before touching the boards again.

  • If you have an appliance with a metal body and a three pronged electrical cord (a microwave etc) you can touch the metal case to ground yourself. Note: You DO NOT need to turn on the appliance, just have it plugged in.

  • The switches are on the two lower boards so remove the top board by removing the five screws (first picture) holding it in place.

  • The second picture shows where you should put your fingers to gently pull the plastic bar up over the standoffs (where the screws attach).

  • Once the plastic bar is free pull the board towards you a bit. Notice how the back of the board fits between plastic tabs at the back. This will be important when re-assembling the boards.

  • You can gently lay the top board over the back leaving all the ribbon cables attached (third picture).

Retirez le circuit imprimé supérieur

Remarque: je ne sais pas à quel point les circuits imprimés sont sensibles à l'électricité statique alors si l'humidité ambiante est assez faible (c'est à dire que l'électricité statique peut s'accumuler et qu'un contact manuel grille quelque chose). Essayez de vous décharger avant de toucher un circuit (pareil si vous vous levez et marchez) .

Si vous avez un autre appareil avec un corps en métal et un cordon à trois câbles électriques (un micro-onde, etc...) vous pouvez toucher le boitier en métal de celui-ci pour vous décharger. Remarque : Vous n'avez PAS besoin d'allumer l'appareil, juste de le brancher.

Les contacteurs se trouvent sur les deux cartes inférieures alors retirez la carte supérieure en dévissant les cinq vis (première photo) qui la maintiennent.

La seconde photo montre l'endroit où vous devriez placer vos doigts pour tirer délicatement vers le haut la barre en plastique au dessus des entretoises (où les vis sont attachées).

Une fois la barre en plastique enlevée, tirez un peu la carte vers vous. Notez comment l'arrière de la carte s'insère entre les languettes à l'arrière. Ce sera important lorsque vous remonterez les cartes.

Vous pouvez laisser reposer la carte supérieure par dessus à l'arrière en laissant toutes les nappes de câbles attachées (troisième photo).
