Use an opening pick or a halberd spudger to peel the power button cable away from the bracket.
Remove the power button cable.
Compare your new replacement part to the original part—you may need to transfer remaining components or remove adhesive backings from the new part before you install it.
During reassembly, transfer the ambient light sensor gasket over to the new power button cable.
During reassembly, follow this guide if you are using a pre-cut adhesive card to attach the new cable to the power button bracket.
