How to remove a stuck battery

  • If you're still having trouble removing the battery, apply a few drops of high concentration (90% or higher) isopropyl alcohol under the edge of the battery in the area of the broken adhesive strip(s).

  • Wait about one minute for the alcohol solution to weaken the adhesive.

  • Use an opening pick or the flat end of a spudger to gently lift the battery.

  • Don't try to forcefully lever the battery out. If needed, apply a few more drops of alcohol to further weaken the adhesive. Never deform or puncture the battery with your pry tool.

Si vous avez encore du mal à retirer la batterie, appliquez quelques gouttes d'alcool isopropylique (> 90 %) sous le bord de la batterie, à l'endroit où se trouvent la ou les bandes déchirées.

Attendez environ une minutes, le temps que l'alcool agisse et ramollisse l'adhésif.

Utilisez un médiator ou l'extrémité plate d'une spatule pour soulever soigneusement la batterie.

Évitez de forcer sur la batterie. Si nécessaire, appliquez quelques gouttes d'alcool supplémentaires pour affaiblir davantage l'adhésif. Ne déformez et ne perforez jamais la batterie avec votre outil.
