I want to know if the batteries that iFixit sells are lithium- ion or another type of battery.

Hi Scott, my guess would be that the logic board may need to be replaced OR a cable could have come dis-connected from the board or the battery itself. I suggest trying to re-install the new battery.

I'm great on solar devices and would like to let you know that most likely your Keyboard does need to have the internal rechargeable battery needs replacing. all products charged via solar, or home electrical line eventually will need to be replaced. contact me at Cecilbundick@icloud.com for more information.
